CURTIS FLEMING CUP

The annual Curtis Fleming 5-a-Side Cup was held at St.Laurence O’Toole C.C. on Thursday 3^rd June 2010.

Eight teams from 4^th/5^th class represented St. Joseph’s Fairview, St. Laurence O’Toole’s, Rutland Street and Scoil Plas Mhuire, Dorset Street

There were two groups of four from which 4 teams qualified for the Semi Finals

In the Final, St. Joseph’s retained the Cup by beating St. Laurence O’Toole 3-2 in a close, exciting encounter.

Over 80 people attended on a fine summer’s day.

Many thanks to  Christy Lougheed, Ian Hill, David Rake, FAI Community Development  Officers, Olivia O’Toole, centre staff and groundsman (who prepared the grass pitch)the Schools Principles and teachers for ensuring that the players enjoyed the competition, which was played in a very sporting manner.
