The Football Association of Ireland has confirmed that it will play a Three International friendly match against the Czech Republic in Aviva Stadium on February 29.
The friendly will be the first of two home matches to be played in Aviva Stadium before the boys in green head off to compete in UEFA EURO 2012. The second friendly will take place at the end of May and the opposition will be revealed here shortly.
Both friendlies will get the party started ahead of a June 2012 to savour, when the Irish team arrive in Poland to take on Croatia, Spain and Italy.
Tickets for the Republic of Ireland v Czech Republic will go on public sale through Ticketmaster from January 26. They are currently on pre-sale to season ticket and Vantage holders. Special celebration discount prices will be released before January 26 for this game with significant discounts to get the party started and to thank our loyal fans for their support.
